Before Photo: The extra skin was weighing down on the upper eyelids and causing prominent wrinkles and dark shadows of the lower lids.
After Photo: After upper eyelid lift (blepharoplasty) and lower lid blepharoplasty through a skin incision to remove the extra skin. In addition the patient had a procedure called canthoplasty to support the lower lids , preserve the shape of the eyes and avoid lower lid retraction also known as “deer in the headlights” appearance . Her recovery time was approximately two weeks.
